Dr. J. Scott Brown, D.C., FADP the founder of Brown Chiropractic received his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree in 1984 from Life College where he graduated Cum Laude and a member of the National Dean's List. He has continued his education and added many post graduate certifications which include Impairment and Disability Rating and Industrial Rehabilitation. He is one of the few doctors in the country that holds the distinguished title of "Fellow in the Academy of Certified Diagnostic Physicians" (FADP).
Dr. Brown has acted as Team Doctor for the University of Tennessee Ski Team, The Knoxville Rugby Club and the Knoxville Cherokees Professional Hockey Team. With his certifications in Rehabilitations and Impairment and Disability Evaluation coupled with his extensive experience in treating sports injuries, Dr. Brown has become highly sought after for the treatment and evaluation of auto, work related and sports injuries.
Dr. Brown has been asked to speak to numerous professional organizations including The Tennessee Valley Chiropractic Association and Physician's Academy in Dallas, TX. He has also been published on several occasions including articles in East Tennessee Healthstyles, American Chiropractic Association Journal and The American Chiropractor.
Dr. Brown's special interests include the treatment of headaches and disc injuries with the use of a specialized technique of "Painless Long Axial Adjusting". It's no wonder so many people refer to Dr. Brown as "The Disc Doctor".
On a personal note: Dr. Brown enjoys many hobbies and sports including fishing, boating, wrestling and horseback riding. He is a huge Tennessee football fan, GO VOLS! He is an even bigger fan of his family, which includes his wife, Lee, his son, Dr. Sean Newport, his daughter-in-law, Christa Newport, and his three grandchildren, Haley, Hayden, and Halston.

Dr. D. Sean Newport received his Undergraduate Study at the University of Florida, where he received a degree in Cardiopulmonary Technology. He graduated Cum Laude at Life University where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree along with a B.S. in Nutrition. Since that time he has received numerous professional certifications in Advanced Diagnostic and Clinical Procedures. Dr. Newport received various certifications and licenses from The Physicians Academy in Dallas, TX and the National Board of Chiropractic, which include impairment and disability rating. He has appeared numerous times as an expert witness in court.
Dr. Newport's special interests include the treatment of children and childhood scoliosis, along with adult spinal conditions including neck pain, back pain and sciatica. He also enjoys the treatment of joint conditions of the shoulders, arms, hands, legs and feet, including vast experience and success in the painless non-surgical treatment of cervical and lumbar conditions. Dr. Newport also has nearly 15 years experience in the successful treatment of Personal Injury Cases, Workman's Comp and Auto Injuries.
On a personal note: Dr. Newport excels in many hobbies and sports including snow skiing, golf, boating, horseback riding and playing guitar. He enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife and three children. He also enjoys cheering for his daughter as she competes in Barrel Racing all across the United States. Dr. Newport is a big fan of UT football.

Thomas Sawyer, MPT, is a graduate of Loma Linda University in Southern California where he received a B.S. degree in Health Science and a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy. Mr. Sawyer has extensive experience in multiple areas including post-operative care of orthopedic patients, stroke rehabilitation, amputee rehabilitation including participation in orthotic and prosthetic modification and management. He has over 12 years of licensed physical therapy experience.
Tom has established community outreach programs presented to faculty and peers for research he has done involving vestibular stimulation. He has also studied in the Netherlands under a certified manual physical therapist emphasizing spine and extremity joint mobilization as well as soft tissue mobilization and neurological re-education. He has a well balanced approach to manual therapy.
Tom's goal is simple; to provide the best care possible to every person he treats. He is a firm believer in the hands-on approach and together with his expertise in physical therapy his patients truly receive not only the best care, but the best rehabilitative environment to get well in.
On a personal note: Tom enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling abroad with his wife and two children. He is a health and fitness guru who's passionate about exercising and maintaining healthy habits.

Dr. W. David Forth received his undergraduate study at Hiwassee College in Madisonville, TN and received his doctor of Chiropractic Degree at Life University.
Dr. Forth specializes in treating childhood scoliosis, adult disc, osteoarthritis, and sciatica. He is a specialist in the Thompson Drop Table technique and in Pulstar adjusting as well as diversified techniques. He also enjoys treating difficult cases where other methods have failed.
On a personal note: In his spare time, Dr. Forth likes to go fishing, camping, and boating. Dr. Forth has a broad family including his son, two grandchildren and his wife. Dr. Forth is life and family orientated. He served in the Marine Corps for 4 years, spent 1 year in Okinawa, Japan and served in Desert Storm in 1990 and 1991 for 10 months.
